2.	Webservices More info	We use webservices.macrosport.com for miscellaneous functions (no user installation required): Newer versions of product; Corporate database (APAS Data Archives); Newer versions of templates (analysis protocols and report definitions); Documents and examples. Enforcing our license agreement.
3.	XML More info	XML is the Extensible Markup Language. It is designed to improve the functionality of applications by providing more flexible and adaptable information identification. It is called extensible because it is not a fixed format like HTML (a single, predefined markup language). Instead, XML is actually a `metalanguage' ï¿½a language for describing other languagesï¿½which lets you design your own customized markup languages for limitless different types of documents. :AK-FCE.xml)This fits our purpose very well. 4.	XSLT More info	A language for transforming XML documents into other XML documents. XSLT is designed for use as part of XSL, which is a stylesheet language for XML. In addition to XSLT, XSL includes an XML vocabulary for specifying formatting. XSL specifies the styling of an XML document by using XSLT to describe how the document is transformed into another XML document that uses the formatting vocabulary.
5.	CSS More info	Linked Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are a simple mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors, spacing) to our reports.
6.	DirectX 9.0b More info	Microsoft DirectXï¿½ is a group of technologies designed to make Windows-based computers an ideal platform for running and displaying applications rich in multimedia elements such as full-color graphics, video, 3-D animation, and surround sound. We use it for hardware-accelerated rendering (3d stick figures). Get a decent graphics card. I get 100s FPS on my notebook (nVidia GeForce FX5600). Future versions will replace APAS/Renderer and APAS/Gait (apparently nobody likes Java).
